Dubai Maritime City Free Zone is surrounded by the Arabian Gulf which allows quick access to the sea, airport as well as public transport options. DMC is broadly divided into two precincts, one is industrial while the other is commercial.
The industrial precinct of Dubai Maritime City has unobstructed open access to seawaters and is mostly occupied by businesses which are involved in ship repair and maintenance, yacht repair and manufacturing and other workshop units related to maritime businesses. It is currently the most developed area within DMC.
